Lovely location & nicely shaded, well-spaced sites. Clean bathrooms. Choose site carefully if you need cell service (hard to be without it these days) - we moved sites to get coverage at the top of the hill.

This was our first time here camping. It was exceptionally quiet at the campground which was nice and you couldn't hear conversations. The sites were spaced out well and not on top of the other like at other sites. Good size campsites. We were impressed with the fire area and grill! We didn't know if we would need to bring our tripod grill with to put over the fire or what the grill there was like. We didn't do much hiking on the trails as it was very hot and humid when we camped. We plan to go back this fall and hike. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The playground was wonderful for my son to play on. We plan to check out more around the area the next time we come.

Well taken care of grounds. Bathrooms clean and showers had hot water. Many trees give privacy for camping and the playground was nice for the children. The lake was too far away for swimming.

Absolutely beautiful campsite, and good separation between campsites. I went with my boyfriend and we had so much fun hunting down the geocaches and trying the local produce. Will definitely be coming back again! The lookout over the day use area has wonderful hammocking spots.

This was a surprise as to the quality of this campground. Nicely spaced sites. Mostly shaded. Quiet, well maintained campgrounds, Clean restrooms serviced daily. Lots of hiking trails.
If you are a horse person looking for trail riding this area has an abundance of horse trails and a separate equestrian campground area.
Managed by corp of engineers.
Very impressed., We will be back
