Nice shaded campground. Fill your Potable water tank upon entering the campground as there isn’t water at the campsites. The reservoir is not accessible from the campground but is a few miles by vehicle to it. There are nice hiking and equestrian trails in the campground. Restroom and bathhouse are kept very clean and tidy. The camp host and Rangers were friendly and helpful. Campground has a nice dump station at the entrance to the campground. Due to canopy of the trees we couldn’t use Starlink at our campsite. We had poor service from T-Mobile as well. The nice lady that supplies the firewood for sale at the entrance will also supply farm fresh eggs for sale upon request. Her eggs were very good. There are also Baked goods and fresh produce for sale along the road going to the Day use reservoir area.

I made a mistake and paid for #15 but parked our 40' motorhome in 19. The attendant Mary (and Jim), worked it out that we didn't have to move by contacting the person who had reserved #19 the next night. They agreed to change spots. Wow! Thank you Mary!!

Although the weather was not optimal, we did enjoy our time here. Great hosts, clean grounds/restrooms, quiet environment. All in all, a great USACE campground.
