The campground is well shaded for summer. The hiking trails are well marked. I enjoyed kayaking on the lake, the swimming beach well marked, shower house is very clean. Good bike trails nearby.

Water fill station was not marked clearly and caused us to have to drive through the entire campground to get back to fill. The we had to drive out of the campground to find a place to turnaround. The roads were very narrow and extremely uneven and very hard to drive. We stayed in site 14 which was so uneven front to back in order to level we had to double stack 2 6x6 blocks and extend our jack an additional 12inches. This made our front stabilizer jacks almost fully extended causing the rv to shake A Lot whenever anyone moved. It made for a very non restful night. The dump station was very gross with nasty standing water all around the very oversized opening. This is a campground we will NEVER return to.

Campsites are nicely spaced and mostly shady. Facilities are clean and in good repair. Watch out for the horse droppings on the equestrian trails> Not a wilderness experience, but it makes a great getaway for a few days of car camping.

My campsite was fantastic - lots of room and privacy. We kayaked in the Eau Galle Reservoir and paddled up a few of the streams, seeing lots of turtles, geese and other birds along the way, including an eagle. Also got in about 8 miles of hiking. Highly recommend this park!!

Well spaced, shady sites, most are on the edge of a forested hill. Good hiking trails and access to lake and stream. Some of the trails are frequently muddy so be prepared. Facilities are good, water tastes great, strong pressure and lots of hot water at the showers.

It is a shame that the Buildings, Shower House, Pump House is in such disrepair. The buildings are rotting from the Ground up. The Campsites are unkept, Fire pits are full of ash and Garbage. Trails are over growen. The Roads are washed over with Gravel and Sand. The ditches are rutted out, and need grading. It used to be so well kept, what aa shame.
