The campsite was very nice, however, I was under the impression that this was an equine campground.
Late afternoon a very large group of men, women and children, approximately 25, arrived at the campground and set up camp overnight.
Clearly they did not understand campsite etiquette because they walked right through our campsite. They did not understand the potential dangers of approaching a strange, tied horse, in the dark.

It was deep in the woods so very quiet. Also very clean and beautiful. We have two young children so we were excited for the beach. Unfortunately it’s not as close as it seems. You can walk to the lake but no beach access, but it’s a very quick drive away and a really great beach/park. Camp also had showers!! Would stay again!

This campground is our go to spot. My wife and I hike with our two dogs on the trails. We love how shaded and private these sites are. The camp host is really friendly and we love their rough collies! We'll be back again this season!
