Great place if you just want to sit by a fire and be surrounded by trees and relax for a few days.

I really enjoyed my stay at Highland Ridge campgrounds! The trees provided just the right amount of shade and surprisingly there were hardly any mosquitoes.

The campground and shower building are very clean. Fire pits are cleaned weekly. Campground hosts are very friendly and helpful.
You need to drive to the beach, but it is a nice beach.
We will be returning.

site 22 Level site and roomy . Nice quiet park. site was level and shaded. The park is heavily wooded and thus a bit buggy. Bathrooms are old but clean.

The campsites are great, lots of trees and lots of space between sites. We used this just as a single nights stop in between places, but definitely we wish we had more time to enjoy this place. Warm showers, RV dump, garbage and recycling…this place had everything we needed. Plus there were hiking trails that we didn’t get the enjoy.
