This campground is awesome! The sites are very private and the bathroom/shower facilities are very clean. We booked and brought our dogs in anticipation to do a lot of hiking, but the weather was in the 90’s and just too hot for our dogs. This site says there’s onsite swimming, so we figured we’d take the dogs swimming instead. The swimming area is 15 minutes away and doesn’t allow dogs. The locals said there are no swimming areas nearby that allows dogs due to people ruining this in the past. Just be aware if you’re bringing dogs! Apart from that, the campground was awesome, relaxing and secluded!

Peaceful! The maple forest is amazingly rejuvenating. Sites well spaced and private compared to most. Yes, those were loons we just heard! Well maintained sites, and facilities were excellent . Ahhh!!!

Great campground, spacious sites with lots of trees in the back. Fun walking trails, but wish there were more long hiking trails. Horses unfortunately were ridden on trails that were clearly marked “No horses” so that was disappointing. Nice bathroom and showers facilities, quite park.
