As usual, it was quiet and peaceful. We’ve been here many times because of its location, cost and friendly people. I hesitate giving this place a good review because maybe it would be harder to get a reservation. :)

Great to camp during week, very few campers and very quiet.

Camped here over 30 years ago in a tent when passing through as a young kid. My wife and I recently re-discovered it since we only live about an hour away and this is our new hidden gem!

I am now 66 and have coming to Highland Ridge to camp since I was in my 30s and it is my far my favorite place to camp. Heavily wooded with 50amp electric, Well spaced campsites, decent restrooms and showers and great hiking trails. Make you explore the tiny Town of Spring Valley and Cady Cheese is a wonderful place to indulge in Wisconsin Cheese.

outstanding weekend. Cool but warm by the camp fire. Very quite, good hiking trials and secluded campsites.

Nice campsite but dated. Most sites I saw we would have had a tough time with our 34' trailer getting it level. Trails were nice but overlooks were very grown up and I wish there was quicker access to the the creek rather than a horse trail. Even though this review sounds super negative, the park was nice, rangers? were friendly, and facilities clean. Get a wheelbarrow of wood for $20 on NN rather than the bucket for $10 right outside camp
