The campground is lovely. The spots are all kind of carved out of some fairly thick undergrowth providing a little privacy. Some sites are more open than others. You cannot really see the river from the campground. The bathrooms were very clean and the host was really nice. Problem was really the other campers. Some RVs were blaring 70s hair ballads loud enough to hear anywhere near the campground. Generators everywhere. Maybe it’s just 2020 and everyone who can’t make it to hickfest is camping instead. Otherwise, wonderful campground with a few mosquitoes.

This campground is absolutely gorgeous. We arrived a little late but the campground host greeted us and provided info needed for our stay. We only stayed one night but we were able to enjoy a morning walk around the lake and was one of the highlights of our 2 week trip.

Wonderful campground. We were at campsite #2. There is a path that leads down a steep hill to the lake. One evening we saw two moose grazing by the water. The camp host was wonderful... very knowledgeable and friendly. The vault toilets were clean and maintained. No complaints, at all. We tent camp quite a bit and this is our first time camping at Sibley Lake. We'll definitely be back.

Nice site, albeit a bit small compared to others we’ve experienced. Ground was pretty hard, but a nice selection of rocks outside the site that made for alternative tie downs.

I've been camping here for many years. I would give it a 5 star rating except for one thing, the dust! The gravel road to the campground and lake has a lot of vehicle traffic. They stir up a lot of dust that goes into the campground. I wish you would invest in a system to water the road down two or three times a day, even if it cost an extra dollar or two to camp. A lot of the traffic is local traffic from Sheridan county. Otherwise, the facilities are nice. The lake is great for canoes, paddle boards and kayaks. Fishing is good and it is a good launching point for other trails and sight seeing.

We have been spending a couple of long weekends a year at Sibley Lake for many years now. We love kayaking or walking around the lake, hiking to Black Mountain Lookout Trail (amazing views) or to Bucking Mule and Porcupine Falls. Shell Canyon is worth taking a picnic lunch and making it a day trip. We also like to rent four wheelers at the Elk View Inn to get off the beaten path to see some amazing scenery, but be sure to reserve online early especially on weekends. The campsites are well spaced for quiet and privacy.

Great camp hosts. Very clean and well kept sites and bathrooms. Lake is very busy. Campground is nice though. Roads are very dusty.
