Nice sites. Beautiful lake, easy access. Good fishing. Moose, Osprey sightings. Take a nice easy hike up the creek from the lake. Have the Reuben at Bear Lodge. And the Pie!

The best high mountain campground for towed campers, bar none, that I have ever seen.

We camped in August and again in September. We saw elk every day and an occasional bear. We did not have any bears in camp this year. Fishing in the lake was good. We visited several lakes in the area and stream fishing was great. Water in the streams was slow and very clear. We plan on spending more time in the area this year.
