What Guests Are Saying
Rex Hale Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, scenic location and excellent maintenance, with many guests appreciating the friendly and accommodating camp host, Tom. The camp offers clean facilities, including spotless vault toilets, and some sites with water and electricity, enhancing the camping experience. While the campground will transition to a "First Come, First Served" system, it remains a recommended choice for those seeking a peaceful outdoor retreat near Yellowstone.

We truly enjoyed our stay very clean. We did however get a little aggravated that when people had spots that they did not ever show for they where never released. On the site it said if u didn’t show after 24 hours your site would be released. However we saw many sites that said reserved and NO ONE EVER SHOWED!!!!
The first host was not very helpful or friendly she never really came out except a few times. Then we meet a new host prior to leaving that was amazing!!!! Very great guy

Great campground. There are primitive spots by the water and electric/water spots off the river. We went there when Wapiti closed on us. Great views and plenty of trails nearby. Can't wait to get back!

We camped at the sites that were closest to the river. It’s a beautiful campground and sunsets are stunning! Sites seem pretty well spaced out. Enjoyed coffee in the morning with the view and sunsets with a fire staring at the view. Really had no issues with bugs and the camp host was helpful.
