What Guests Are Saying

North Tongue is a peaceful and clean campground with well-maintained bathrooms, ample space for larger trailers, and great opportunities for fishing and wildlife viewing, including moose and deer. While some sites have slopes and noise from nearby recreational traffic can be an issue, overall, visitors appreciate the friendly camp host and the cozy atmosphere. Reservations are recommended due to the campground's popularity, and the addition of electricity would enhance the experience.

I really like this campground! It has the creek running down it and is a very quiet place. The camp Host are very friendly and helpful.
Lots of fun places you can go with your side by sides. This is my favorite of all the campground in the Big Horn Mountains.

There wasn't a great level spot for a tent in #5 but we figured it out and slept well with the sound of the creek right next to us. It was not a quiet area during the day as there were many ATV's and dirt bikes creating dust and noise. I took my dog for his evening walk on the road over to the picnic area. I enjoyed the scenery but the noise and dust from the dirt bikes was annoying.

Very clean, small campground. Perfect for a night or a week. We tented this time but many other campers had small trailers or RV's. Saw a bull moose when we arrived at Site 12!

This is our second time staying at North Tongue Campground. Our stay was great! The campground hosts are really friendly and keep the pit toilets very clean! We’ll definitely be back again.

We had site #3 which turned out to be the very best site in the campground. It was semi-secluded right next to the river. The camp hosts were great and the restrooms were exceptionally clean. There was a lot of ATV/ORV activity in this area while we were there.

It was our first time staying in this campground. The pull threw spot was perfect as we have a long 5th wheel
And also a trailer with a side by side. So we had plenty of room for it all with room to spare. As far as the campground goes, it is on the smaller side. But made for a much quieter and relaxing stay. Would stay again. It is close to many trailers
For riding the side by side and also close to fishing.
