Beautiful spot. The campground hosts did not bother us at all (thank you!), but we also didn't break any rules. Great times......

Quite and clean. Most sites are on the Shell River among trees keeping them shaded and cool. Some trees must be 80-100ft tall. Campground is a good jumping off spot for exploring the west side of the Bighorns and fishing spots. We saw lots of mountain bikers. If you are looking for cell service and wifi this is not the spot for you. The campground hosts were friendly. I'd recommend 2-3 days/nights at Shell Campground.

Beautiful, and rushing river with fish close by. We were just disappointed with sharing parking with another vehicle. It was also extremely windy for tent camping. Our tent survived, but it was scary.

The Campground hosts were very helpful and took great care of this CG. The restrooms were clean and well taken care of. This CG is in a beautiful area of the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming, amazing setting!

Camp sight was good. . As always enjoyed sound of creek. My favorite thing about Shell. Enjoyed several trips up the mountain in our atv.
Watched several deer near camp. Also spotted two moose across from camp.
