I stayed at Porcupine Campground August 31, 2019. I found my campsite to be comparatively large, good privacy, and good options as to tree coverage and open sky for my choice of tent placement. The toilets were clean and in good shape. The in-campground loop road was in good shape. I was just looking for an overnight tenting as part of long car travel and it was perfect for me. The road joining the highway to the campsite had some construction/tree harvesting and livestock nearby; so, if someone is looking for a "long-stay remote isolation naturalist experience away from civilization", there must be other campsites in Wyoming that would be better for anyone seeking that type experience than this campground... at least that is the way it appeared to me on August 31, 2019. Happy travels!.

The campground host left his or her dog for hours and it barked quite a bit. The host also let their dog run unleashed thru our area. In addition they left their generator running hours on end.
The campground is clean and well taken care of - we have been going there for years. Just disappointed last year

Very quiet campground and the host this year was very friendly. Only problem he did not keep his dog tied up and it would wander into our campsite and get our darks riled and barking ( they were tied up per rules).
