What Guests Are Saying
Lizard Creek Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting on the shores of Jackson Lake, with spacious and well-maintained sites that provide a sense of privacy. Camp hosts are friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience with helpful tips and support. While the restrooms could use improvement, the campground is a great base for exploring both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, making it a favored destination for many campers.

A wonderful campground. The only negative was that the lake was so low, you couldn’t see it. But it was still beautiful.

Great little campground tucked away in the woods, and perfect for exploring the Grand Tetons or Yellowstone. Had all the amenities with a bear locker on the site. Would absolutely stay here again.

We usually do dispersed camping, not a big fan of the "parking lot" campgrounds. This place was THE BEST choice we've made as far as camping w/reservations. BEAUTIFUL, clean, nice distance and trees between campers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Absolutely serene campground that is much quieter compared to others in the park. Could see the Grand off in the distance and plenty of mountains in the northern part of the park. Spot 39 was great, however, I think the best spots are either 40 or 32 as they have the most open views. Had perfect cell coverage with Verizon.

Arrived late afternoon to check on possible site with a cargo trailer. The camp host was very helpful suggesting a site we would fit in, so we checked it out. Parked and did fit so went on line and reserved. The camp host was excellent, she sold us camp fire wood and ice. The facility was clean and beautiful.

Nice campsites, spacious, table and fire pits. We had a walk in site, the very big bear boxes on the sites meant there was not too much commuting to the car. The bathroom facilities are old and need an upgrade, no showers. No where to wash dishes only dump grey water.

Water Hookup Fee: The Utility fee is imposed on all lodging and camping products to defer the higher cost of providing water and sewer in the remote locations in which we operate. The amount of this fee is determined by taking the difference in the cost of providing these services less the comparable cost of similar services in local areas. This fee is reviewed annually and approved by the National Park Service. |
