Camp hosts are friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience with helpful tips and support. While the restrooms could use improvement, the campground is a great base for exploring both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, making it a favored destination for many campers.

We had such a lovely week here! Charlie and his wife are very friendly hosts who keep a clean campground!!!
Charlie made a few suggestions - one was to eat at Leeks Pizza near the marina & the other was a BEAUTIFUL hike at Phelps Lake which we truly enjoyed! He took the time to talk with us at our campsite & ask us what wildlife we had noticed on our daily adventures & tell us all about the famous elk, Hollywood!!!!
Lizard Creek Campground is a very beautiful, well kept campground, that adheres to quiet hours & if you need showers, you can do that down the road - 19 min drive at Coulter Bay!
Firewood & Ice is available at host check in.

This was my first time visiting the Grand Teton/Yellowstone area and this campground was the perfect choice for a place that was close to both parks. Beautiful setting, just a short walk to Jackson Lake, and only twenty minutes from the south entrance to Yellowstone. I would definitely stay at this campground again.

We had a fantastic camping experience at Lizard Creek campground. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed for 5 days. It was a great site. The hosts were helpful. We hiked one day at Colter Bay-doing the Lakeshore trail. Another day, my husband and kids took the boat at Jenny Lake and hiked up to some amazing waterfalls. We spent a day going to Yellowstone. We hiked up to the overlook at Grand Prismatic Spring. The weather was rainy but we brought lots of layers. We used lots of bug spray at the camp site but nothing we aren't used to when we go to our cabin in the mountains. The wildlife viewing was incredible. We ended up seeing 13 bears. By the way, the bear bins at the sites are terrific!

Beautiful campground, great host. We were allowed to gather firewood to burn. Bathrooms and water facilities were clean. Cars from the nearby road were a little noisy at night but otherwise it was a great experience.

Awesome place. I was wishing I’d have booked all my nights here instead of splitting it with another campground in the park. #24 was so quiet and peaceful neighbors were pretty far away as far as campgrounds go. I had enough room to park my 20’ travel trailer and my pickup in this spot.

Beautiful views of the lake while encapsuled in the woods. Not that it could be controlled but the mosquitos were bad; hence the lower rating. Bathrooms weren't the worst but could have used some cleaning maintenance.

Clean Campground with great staff! Secluded and right on Jackson Lake with beautiful views. Liked that it was near Colter Bay for amenities and groceries but not nearly as busy or crowded. Enjoyed our stay.
