We had a great time at Lizard Creek Campground. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming. We had a great camp site directly at the lake (site 40) and enjoyed our time there.

An excellent campground for those who don’t mind a more primitive camping experience. While there are limited amenities, the bathrooms were clean and the sites were well-marked and of adequate size. The staff was extremely friendly and made sure we felt prepared for tent camping in bear country. The location was great for exploring Grand Teton NP as well as Yellowstone NP.

Good spot between Grand Teton and Yellowstone parks. Walking distance to Jackson Lake. Nice campground, clean flush toilets and water available at multiple spots throughout campsite. There was a grizzly in the area when we visited so we were told to place everything - including water bottles - into bear locker overnight.
Hosts were good but gave us plenty of space and let us enjoy our time to ourselves. I would definitely stay here again.

Personable yet professional camp hosts, clean sites and bathrooms, only thing that would make it better is to stay open a few more weeks!

Water Hookup Fee: The Utility fee is imposed on all lodging and camping products to defer the higher cost of providing water and sewer in the remote locations in which we operate. The amount of this fee is determined by taking the difference in the cost of providing these services less the comparable cost of similar services in local areas. This fee is reviewed annually and approved by the National Park Service. |
