Lizard Creek Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting on the shores of Jackson Lake, with spacious and well-maintained sites that provide a sense of privacy. Camp hosts are friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience with helpful tips and support. While the restrooms could use improvement, the campground is a great base for exploring both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, making it a favored destination for many campers.

Beautiful quiet campground with excellent hosts. I have camped there on 4 different occasions and will definitely return. Campsites are private and well treed. Good access to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole.

Camp hosts switched mid stay. Went from talkative and lax to stricter than a Catholic nun. Nice spot for the most part. Not a lot of great trails to get to the lake. A lot of loud neighbors. Midnight bought of laughter and car doors slamming throughout the nights. For the most part ok but we won’t rebook.

Well maintained campground with a spectacular view! Charlie and the other camp hosts were just so great. Some of the friendliest camp hosts I’ve encountered. Charlie gave me intel on where I could land some cutthroat, and I had a great time fishing. Thanks dude!!!

Our favorite campground. The tents only / no generator section on Jackson Lake is what camping should be.

Our camp hosts…. Joan Puckett and Charlie Rome were over the top. They were helpful, hospitable able to help us with details about the area. We really enjoyed their dogs. They are the best camp hosts we’ve ever encountered.

Lizard Creek is one of the best campgrounds I have stayed in at a National Park. The spots were well spaced out, and there was a feeling of privacy in each spot. Highly recommended, five stars.

Water Hookup Fee: The Utility fee is imposed on all lodging and camping products to defer the higher cost of providing water and sewer in the remote locations in which we operate. The amount of this fee is determined by taking the difference in the cost of providing these services less the comparable cost of similar services in local areas. This fee is reviewed annually and approved by the National Park Service. |
