What Guests Are Saying
Green River Lake Lodge offers beautiful and spectacular views, creating a great atmosphere for visitors. However, some guests have reported issues with heating in the cabins, particularly in extreme cold, which detracted from their experience. The kitchen is well-stocked, and there is ample firewood available, though guests should be prepared to split it themselves.

The Lodge was great as always. My only complaint was that the solar lights were not working - which is not a huge issue, but no one let us know from the USFS. Luckily, we had friends staying there before us, so they gave us the heads up to bring plenty of lanterns. Again - not a huge issue, but it could have been pretty dark if we had not known. Better communication by the USFS would be much appreciated. Also, the fridge was not working, which with it being winter was not an issue at all, but again, the communication would have helped.

As advertised, it’s cold and dark with no electricity or running water (Nov 2023). Incredible experience though and we will be back. Unbelievable views and wildlife.
