What Guests Are Saying
Green River Lake Lodge offers beautiful and spectacular views, creating a great atmosphere for visitors. However, some guests have reported issues with heating in the cabins, particularly in extreme cold, which detracted from their experience. The kitchen is well-stocked, and there is ample firewood available, though guests should be prepared to split it themselves.

This is such a gorgeous destination, and the cabin is very comfortable. Glad to have solar powered lights & refrigerator, and that we brought plenty of water and firewood. The only drawback was the scuffling of hundreds of tiny feet in the ceiling keeping me awake at night. Bring your earbuds!

We stay at the cabin March 20-23, 2022. A snowmobile and tracked side-by-side got us easily to the lodge on the well-groomed road, and the cabin was perfect for our winter stay. A small solar panel outside provided some light in the kitchen area for meal prep, which was an unexpected amenity. The wood stove was large and efficient and kept the house at a comfortable temperature. Other amenities were: pots/pans of all shapes and sizes, plates/bowls/cups/utensils, a few cleaning supplies, a pit toilet just a short walk from the cabin, and hangers to hang-dry our wet clothes. We're already looking for dates for a return trip!

Post a Suggestion-------build the fire in the back half of the main fireplace to prevent smoke accumulation in the cabin and promote air draw into the fireplace from the room.

Great time at the lodge. Definitely a tough snowmobile trip as the trail hadn’t need groomed. This would be a five star review if the forest service would stock firewood. Wood is the sole heat for the cabin and it’s never stocked anymore so we spent the first day having to fall trees and split wood. Every year the forest service crews are cutting and clearing up near the cabin and I can’t understand why they don’t just drag it to the cabin instead of burning it to clear it.
