My site 10 was right on the creek and gorgeous. Nearby hiking at Shelby Lake provided much needed exercise. The removal or piling of beetle killed trees around the campground make it safer and more attractive.

i think the camping limit of 14 days is too long. many set up camp for two weeks and others don't get to camp because of the limited number of camp sites

Water was available, bathrooms were lighted, host had firewood for purchase. Nice campground and our site was right next to the creek.

Our
Campsite was
Beautiful right along the tongue river! Water wasn’t turned on and I wish that was communicated better to us.

I would have gave it 5 stars but last year there was a water issue which put a big damper on being able to wash stuff like dishes I camp in a tent with my two kids. It is beautiful and clean. Fairly friendly hosts as long as you follow the rules you won't have any problem! Ppl are nice, and it is so relaxing. This year will be our 7th year going up. We wouldn't want it any other way! Hopefully they have the water fixed though. Not knowing in advance about the water problem did put a damper because we had to go back down to Sheridan to find water . Everywhere else on the mountain was out too. (with so many needing to access water as well) Keep doing the dang thing all around best time of the year for us!!
