I would have gave it 5 stars but last year there was a water issue which put a big damper on being able to wash stuff like dishes I camp in a tent with my two kids. It is beautiful and clean. Fairly friendly hosts as long as you follow the rules you won't have any problem! Ppl are nice, and it is so relaxing. This year will be our 7th year going up. We wouldn't want it any other way! Hopefully they have the water fixed though. Not knowing in advance about the water problem did put a damper because we had to go back down to Sheridan to find water . Everywhere else on the mountain was out too. (with so many needing to access water as well) Keep doing the dang thing all around best time of the year for us!!

This is a nice quite campground with a small river running right along side of it. One day a moose and her young one walked right through the campground. There is some noise from the highway during the daytime. I like the campground very much.

It would have been helpful to know where our site was. We got there after hours and we had to search around for our site potentially disturbing folks who were sleeping with our headlights. Otherwise it was great. Clean bathroom and site.

We seen moose at our campsite. Number 9 is our favorite. Plenty of running room for the grandkids.
