It's a quiet, wonderfully clean, and dark camp. The meadow and creek on the way in is gorgeous. Steve the volunteer was so kind, generous and helpful with information that helped us plan our first days in Yellowstone.

Good place for a base camp to enjoy the northwest part of Yellowstone. Numerous good trailheads minutes from the campground.

If it hadn’t been for the surprise thunderstorm this would have been the best stop of our trip. Clean bathrooms & great lots. The only thing is that it felt like although the lots were large, the tent pads were too small for our large tunnel tent & also the neighbors tent pad was very close to our fire pit area. Luckily they were there when our kids were running around. Either way, we had a great time here aside from the rain.

Campground is well situated in the northwestern part of the park. There are plenty of trails around, including one that goes directly out of the campground. The vault toilets are clean and well stocked and campground hosts are quite nice. There is a no generator rule so no buzzing noise to bother you through the night! Definitely recommended.
