The site wasn't super level, but it had lovely trees all around and you weren't right on top of your neighbor.

Convenient location as base to visit Norris, Canyon, Mammoth, Towers, Lamar. Great campground hosts. Quiet, but campers get up early.

The campground is quiet, easily accessible and we spotted two bears on our travels in and out of the campground. The campground didn’t sell firewood, which was unfortunate but we made do. We also found the loop trail from the campground to be poorly marked. Aside from these two small hiccups, I would absolutely stay here again.

Delightfully quiet campground. There were plenty of vault toilets, spigots, and bear boxes. We stayed for six nights and if there had been bathroom sinks and flush toilets, I could have stayed for six months!
