Although I reserved a camp spot, I opted for an open spot on the hiker/biker area near the rim and was thrilled with the space. Thanks for everything!

One of our favorite places to camp. The grounds and bathrooms, including showers are always clean.
I just wish there was some way to penalize those who make reservations, but do not show up, leaving a campsite vacant when they are so hard to reserve in advance.

Well spaced camp sites, close to facilities but not too close to each other. I want to come back when I can stay longer.

The campground itself is lovely. This site would be great for someone in a very small RV or a tent. Though it is a pull through site, there are two trees about 10 feet across at the very middle of the curve, making it hard to pull anything larger than a small RV through. Bathrooms very clean. Pay showers are lukewarm at best, we were warned by the person who checked us in. Lodge is within hiking distance, make sure you make a reservation ahead of time if you want to eat dinner there.

Late season same day campground reservation. it's nice going after all the crowds have left and the weather is turning a bit brisk. The ranger was able to help me get a campsite without a reservation and made some recommendations for sights to see. Highly recommended.

Campground was clean and very nice. Ranger who checked us in was helpful and friendly. Convenient store.
I rate the overall experience as excellent but the site wouldn’t let me check the box.

The campsite was great. Big trees, plenty of space. Restrooms were clean. The ranger we checked in with was very helpful and shared a great deal of information.

Nice campground with some excellent sites near the rim. I would rate it higher except we had a bunch of people who came in at midnight, made a lot of noise and ignored our calls to be quiet as they woke up us and many others. Can't blame the camp host for these incredibly rude people but it did mar our experience as we had a difficult time going back to sleep.
