We had camp site 075, and it was level and large. We have a 6-person tent and we had room for more. Water and bathrooms were super convenient. We hiked the Kaibab Trial down to the Supai Tunnel. Great hike, but you do share the trail with mules (including their excrement and flies). The trail drops 1400 ft. in 2-miles, so keep that in mind coming back up (take plenty of water & snacks). The Transept Trail from the campground over to the Lodge was a nice scenic hike, and you can get a good cocktail(s) at the Saloon there. Recommend driving to all of the lookouts in the area (especially Angels Window & Point Imperial).

1 person tent camping for 3 nights beginning of Aug 2023. Check in was quick and easy right at noon. Water spigot and restrooms were close to the campsite. Restrooms were always clean during my stay. More RV's than tents while I was there. Neighbors were quiet. Overall enjoyed the campground.

Ce camping est super, on va à pieds au Lodge et aux points de vue célèbres en 15 à 20 min environ. Mais juste en dessous du camping, à 50m, c'est déjà superbe. Notre emplacement était un peu trop près des toilettes (bruyant la nuit)

The showers were cold. Ice ice (baby) cold. It was very disappointing to pay for a hot shower and it be very cold. Other than that nice campground

Great site, but like many NP campsites, it’s not level. We got our Class B van level fairly easily via our plastic legos, but if you don’t have any way to level your RV, you may not be comfortable.

This site is quite off-level and has a significant bend in the middle around a tree. We had no issues parking there with our Class B van, used those plastic Legos to get level. If you have a trailer or a class C motor home, pay close attention to the max length rating for the site.

Perfectly clean, spacious, easy-pull-through spot, thisclose to water and short walk to the restrooms. Super friendly folks at check-in and in the general store.
The other campers were respectful of the quiet hours.
No showers or breakfast at the North Rim Lodge unfortunately, due to landslide damage to the water line coming up from inside the canyon, but that was fixed as promised a few days after I left.
The canyon made it up to me, though, with one of the best sunsets I've ever seen at the park. Rainbows, condors, dramatic skies, vivid colors -- one can't ask for more from a campsite a few miles away!

The North Rim is my happy place. The campground is beautiful, and the tent sites are just steps from the canyon itself. Although there were water issues, that is to be expected in such a remote place, and the park staff were very helpful in explaining where and how to get water. Again, the pit toilet was not ideal, but a way better option than traipsing all the way to the other part of the campground. We were prepared from a previous stay and brought a solar shower, but lo and behold the commercial showers reopened just as we got there! The laundry facility was nice and big, with minimal wait times and lots of machines. The general store has just about everything you could possibly want, including REALLY good coffee. It was nice to have the lodge close enough to walk to, but not so close that you felt part of the "hotel crowd."
