Very nice location, large sites in nice surroundings. Lots of noise generators though.

Very nice, informative staff. Bathrooms were ok. Wonderful nearby trails, but be careful of unexpected rain showers, thunder and lightning.

Great place to explore the North Rim. Well managed, access to lots of services. We'll be back.

Great location with plenty of clean and close bathrooms. The lodge and general store were both near enough to walk and the other campers were respectable and quiet. This is the second time I’ve stayed and definitely not the last!

Very nice camp spot, outstanding staff. Only one complaint. Because of the historic heat wave, it would have helped us a lot to be able to turn on a generator a bit earlier in the day. Like 3 pm to 6, instead of 6 to 8. Having hauled a huge house to the camp, it would have been much nicer to be able to use my air conditioner. Particularly during what we began to call, the "hydrocarbon hour" Too hot to close a window, yet the air was mostly charcoal starter and very smoky fires.
Not that the weather is your fault, but if we could have applied to the camp host to run our very quiet generator earlier, we would not have left a day early. Just couldn't stand another day of 90 in the camper, with smoke blowing in one window and out the other. I totally understand restrictions on noisy generators all day, but for those of us who spend big bucks on a quiet one, we should be able to get permission to run it during a heat wave.

Booked a 3 night stay as it was one of the few campsites in the west that showed “available”. The rest of the west was 95-115 degrees, it was a very comfortable 82 degrees at 8500 The campsites were spacious, shaded and fairly level. The wind coming off the canyon at night blowing through the ponderosa pines, and views of the Milky Way were awesome! My only “negative” would be that the closest grocery store in about 1.5 hours away. The general stores in the area have some basic food items but if you want a steak prepare for a long drive.
