Great campground, quiet, lots of shade, plenty of water and SHOWERS! We were camping in a tent in 36 degrees weather and still enjoyed it! Everyone is helpful and all the things you might need are right there.

What a beautiful experience with both the hiking, amenities, and quietness of the campsite. So looking forward to next years memories.

Really enjoyed the 24 hours we were there. Camped on site 16 which was beautiful. Hiked the North Kaibab trail to the Bridge, which took, a little less then 4 hours. Made it back to have a cocktail and watch the sunset at the lodge. Next morning got up early to watch the sunrise and hiked the Angel Point trail. After breakfast we drove the Cape Royal Road and stopped at all the view points along the way. Hiked the Cape Royal Trail and Point Imperial Trail. Only having 24 hours I felt like we accomplished what we wanted.

I love this campground! The breeze softly rustling the trees, very little traffic noise and the spaces are big enough so as to not feel crowded. Check in was smooth, campstore convenient. Truly an enjoyable place to kick off a visit to the North Rim.

Great place to relax and enjoy the stars with breathtaking views of the canyon. Plus the showers had hot water, much needed after rim to rim!!

North rim is always pretty with quaking aspen and blue spruce. Luckily water lines were fixed before I arrived however, no phone or internet service. This hasn’t ever happened before. Angels window was a sight to see.

We stayed in the tent-only area and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and offered to switch our site since there was quite a bit of rain that morning and some puddling on the tent pad. It dried fairly quickly so we didn't have to switch. It was nice that they offered though. Very much appreciated. There were only vault toilets with no lighting in the tent-only area which wasn't a problem for us. The building with showers wasn't too far away and we were also able to use the restrooms in the main campground area if we needed a flush toilet or sinks. The laundry and showers were reasonably priced ($1.50) and there was a change machine if you're out of quarters.

Shower is not well maintained and attended. I feel that the hiker/cyclist campsite is too full of Arizona Trail hiker, so it felt somewhat overcrowded. General store was amazing. The rangers at backcountry and camper station were great and helpful.

We liked how close the campground was to the canyon rim and the lodge, and it was nice having a market and laundry on-site. The Transept Trail was a lot rougher and rockier than we were expecting, so on the way back from the lodge we took the much easier Bridle Path and came across some grazing deer. While we were here in early October, the aspen leaves were turning yellow, making a stark and beautiful contrast to the surrounding evergreens. The views and the landscape are scenic and breathtaking.
