What Guests Are Saying
The North Rim Campground is highly praised for its spacious and well-maintained sites, beautiful natural surroundings, and proximity to the Grand Canyon views. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the availability of a general store with essential supplies. Although there were some issues with water access and restroom cleanliness during a recent fire evacuation, the overall experience remains positive, with many expressing a desire to return in the future.

It’s a much smaller campground! It was quiet and extremely well maintained! The bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever been to. The views and trails were exceptional as well. I will definitely be coming back!

The campground was better than I expected in terms of spacing between sites. The general store was well stocked with everything but the prices were pretty high, that's to be expected. The hike from the campground to the Lodge/Visitor's Center was about 2.5 miles roundtrip and had some beautiful scenery. The canyon was, of course, amazing. The only negative that I would have to relate was the amount of bees, especially arond the water faucet at the dump station. I didn't get stung but I wished that I had a pair of leather gloves when I was connecting my water hose to fill up my fresh water tank. There were bees elsewhere in the camp but not a problem. Overall, had a good time.

Beautiful campground, and it’s just an amazing feeling waking up next to the Grand Canyon. The long drive through Kaibab National Forest to get to North Rim is beautiful but very long. Super nice staff, the restrooms are clean, as are the showers, but there’s no hot water, and you have to pay for them (6 quarters for 5mins I think?).
Make sure you select the right campsite before checking out on this website! I accidentally selected a Group Area and got charged for it. When asked for a refund they said it was not possible because it was too short a notice (within 2 weeks). When we got to the camp we thought we’d explore our options and pick either our camp site or the group area, but they said they my name was not on the group area, so I should’ve been refunded. A few days later I get an email saying my refund request was denied. So I paid $50 for a group area and didn’t even get the space.
