What Guests Are Saying

Mogollon Campground receives high praise for its friendly and attentive hosts, well-maintained facilities, and convenient location near scenic trails and Woods Canyon Lake. Campers appreciate the clean bathrooms, spacious sites, and the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the week. Some minor concerns include rocky ground making tent setup challenging and occasional noise from nearby roads and other campers, but overall, visitors express a strong desire to return.

This was our families second camp out at Mogollon campground and we enjoyed it even more. We reserved the four campsites in the middle and were able to enjoy it as a large group site.

The camping spot had lots of trees that provided a lot of shade. You needed to parallel park next to your campsite, and the girls bathroom was lacking toilet paper in the mornings, so make sure to bring your own. Also, our reservation was posted incorrectly on the pole for the campsite (saying we weren't arriving until the following day), so when we arrived there were people already in our site. The people at the site were gracious and vacated because they knew that they hadn't reserved the site. There is a nice paved walking trail that leads to woods canyon lake. This walking trail is smooth enough for rollerblading and scooters. Overall it was a good camping experience.

Close to Wood canyon lake and beautiful rim trails and views. Take raincoats if you want to go in July or August. Very quiet and peaceful during the week. (Don’t know about weekends)
