We love this campground, especially the tent only area but the cleaning of the bathrooms was subpar this visit. The vault toilets could have been scrubbed on the inside and outside better. They also seemed to be quite full which is concerning seeing that this was only May. There should be signs in there asking people to close the lid and maybe an air freshner would be nice. We did have toilet paper although it was pretty close sometimes and the trash was emptied each day. Usually camp hosts stop by and check in but we never saw them. The campsite next to us had a campfire going despite there being fire restrictions which wasn't enforced in this particular instance.

Most campsites are good sized and spread out from each other. Lots of tall, ponderosa’s and cool weather and make this favorite.

Really nice and well kept campground with spacious sites. Everything is spread out and you aren’t right next to neighbor campers which I appreciate. Only downside is there are no toilets (only latrines) at the campground and no showers. We went searching and couldn't find public showers anywhere around Christopher Creek either.

Excellent experience despite not being able to have a fire. Spaces are well spaced out and have privacy. Asphalt and camp sites are well taken care of. Bathrooms are clean and serviceable. Easy to get in and out of sites, loops and spaces.

Our camp host was nice. The site was cleaned. However the sites were so close together we got 2 sites just to space.

They were logging and that really looks depressing and tore up. Good news is that it will grow back in a couple of years... bad news is they are not finished with the camp ground. Also during my stay in the park have noticed a few places that do not accept America the Beautiful Senior pass in day use areas. Have the veterans pass on the way but dont know if they will honor that either. $10 just to ride my bicycle through the area is not Good. especially after paying $90 for the America The Beautiful Senior pass. So it is good for Seniors to pay twice?

When we arrived, someone else was in our spot. The camp host was quick to note that the other party was in the wrong spot & asked them to move, The other party came over to us & after a short discussion, agreed to move, which they had to since they were in the wrong spot. We have stayed in the same #013 spot now twice & really enjoy our space. Very spacious & quiet. We will definitely be back. The camp host was very attentive & the restrooms are clean!
