This is a great site. We host a family camp here for our church. The location is beautiful with plenty of hiking right out of camp. The big Ramada is good for group meals or just hanging out.

In a four day visit I saw the camp host once, garbage can in rest room was full never emptied in the four days also. No car tag, not sure tag, no greeting??? No fire pits emptied, most filled with burnt logs.

This facility is located 23 mi northeast of Payson, Arizona, approximately 1.5 mi east of Christopher Creek. From Payson, take Highway 260 east for 23 mi. The campground is on the south side of Highway 260.

General
- Extra vehicle charge of $8 per night is required if applicable. Fee can be bundled with online reservation or purchased on-site at fee machine.
- No off-highway vehicles allowed off the main campground road.
- No firewood sales available at campground. Plan to purchase ahead of time.
- For First-Come, First-Served sites, you must physically arrive at the campground to see if the campsite is available. There is no guarantee this site will be available to purchase upon your arrival.
- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
- Quiet hours are; no amplified music.
