The campsite was clean and spacious. Plenty of available water and clean restrooms. The Hilltop manager was very nice and helpful.

The campsite we selected was very private and close to the bathroom and fresh water. The experience was incredible; however, the campsite wasn't in excellent condition when we arrived. The fire pit wasn't clean, and areas around the pit were scattered with coals and paper. We left the campsite in much better condition than when we arrived.

We stayed at loop B site 18. We have stayed at Hilltop several times and was one of our favorites. This trip changed that: never saw a camp host, found cigarette butts all over our site along with other garbage, bathrooms were horrible. Drove by camp host site several times to see about buying wood no one there. Site itself had very little shade as other have stated. Good distance from other sites with easy access to them if you come as a family and need more than one site. Never saw a host clean up when others left their sites. Will never book this site again due to no shade. Will consider other campgrounds in the future which is a shame as we have always had pleasant experiences here at Hilltop in the past. No luck with fishing this trip.

We had a wonderful experience at Hilltop campground. It was clean, well taken-care of, and the host was very helpful. We had a beautiful view and we liked that we weren't too terribly close to others around us. We enjoyed the hiking paths and the path to the lake with our pups. We will be back for sure!

Good site overall but reservation tags no longer used and someone might take your spot.

Beautiful site, quiet, mostly flat, which is good for pitching a tent or if you have health issues. Also great views and good tree cover.

Campground host apparently is a volunteer. Had an issue with people next door and he gave us the park rangers number.
Also bathroom was terrible

Excellent campground in the woods near Lynx Lake. Well situated, with some sites providing plenty of elbow room. Restrooms and water faucets.
