The perfect campground for exploring in Prescott National Forest and visiting the town of Prescott. It's a short drive to most places. Most sites are spaced out. In site 24 there was privacy on 3 sides with no one in sight. It had a little shade in the morning and afternoon but was mostly sunny. The open site made for good stargazing at night. A pit toilet, water spigot and trash can are about 100 ft away from #24.

Great campsite location. Privacy was key to our stay. Campsite was shaded well, but with an exception of mid-day (11am-2pm).

If you don't want to climb steps. This site is not recommended.

Parking space was more than enough, for two full size trucks (paralleled parking only)

the original space given to me was not remotely able to handle my 26 foot Motorhome. Thanks to the great Hosts in Hilltop, they were able to move me to a spot able to handle my RV. Otherwise, it would have been a terrible weekend.

I have been enjoying this campground for over 20 years. I love it here. Please let Judy and Warren continue to be the hosts here. They are the best. I always feel safe when they’re on duty.
