We have been to Lynx campground and HillTop a few times now. We really like the shorter commute from the Phoenix area to sites about 7,000 feet elevation. Both campgrounds are very very nice, clean and well kept. All the hosts, Patric, Warren and Don were always friendly, and very helpful. We enjoyed the local trails and visits to Lynx lake. We've already recommended both campgrounds to family and friends and will continue to do so...

Loved our spot for the week, B13. Most of the spots in loop B are for tents which is what we prefer. Dropped into the low 40’s so got cool at night last week. We will be back, great fishing and hiking.

Spot 15 is one of the best spots to get. Most private with the best views.

First time camping at this location, so we were unsure when choosing the site if we were really getting a good one. Turns out that in general, they are all pretty good. About a 10 minute drive +/- in to town to get things if required, so the location and convenience were excellent. Our camp site was raked down very nicely when we arrived, so it looked well prepared. The site was clean as well. Obvious restrictions regarding burning, which was probably the worst part about it. (who likes to camp without being able to make a small campfire!) Both men and women toilets were decently clean. Not much one can do with a glorified hole in the ground. The camp hosts , who were in the site next to us, were very friendly, and offered up some suggestions regarding hiking. So we ended up hiking around Lynx Lake several times over the few days we were camping. Lights out at 10P, which everyone followed....except for the guy in the site across from us who at 3AM had an argument with the family of raccoons who decided to make his campsite their home. If it wasn't so irritating getting woken up so early in the AM, it was pretty funny. Like the raccoons would really listen to him in the first place. We did get visited by a rather large skunk both nights, and while heading to the bathroom, I nearly walked right over one as he was scurrying right in front of me across the road. Overall, Great campground and experience. We will return for sure, and now know of a couple of other sites within that same area the we would like to use for sure.

The site was way too small from an RV with slides on both sides. Both would have to remain closed so no point in staying. I cancelled but was still charged for that day, which I expected. Then we were charged another $12.00 for cancellation fees.
