Loved the ranger and just how awesome he was! Super fun and we had a wonderful time! Will definitely be coming back here around that time off year again!

Hilltop is a favorite. The 305 trail runs right through the campground and Lynx Lake is a short walk. Close to town but quiet and pretty.

It was our second time at Hilltop. We love this campground, that is divided in three zones. Some campsites can be very close to each other while other offer more privacy. The campground host is very helpful.
We enjoy the proximity of Lynx Lake but sadly did not catch any fish while we were there. The lake can be very crowded on weekends.
For those interested in bringing back some local art or craft , do not hesitate to visit the Prescott Art Market located in the Prescott Gateway Mall, not very far from the campground. We discover the place while visiting the tiny food court in the mall and were amazed at the choice and quality of work offered.

We Always enjoy the park. like the added security to the camp grounds. Had problems with random people showing up and messing up the camping spots in the past.

From Phoenix, Arizona: Traveling Northbound on I-17 take Exit 262 onto Hwy 69 North to Prescott and cointnue on Hwy 69 for 30 miles to S Walker Rd. Turn left and proceed South on S. Walker Rd. (by Costco, Petsmart, and AM/PM gas station). Drive about 3.8 miles and then turn East (left) into Hill Top Campground.
Alternate route from Flagstaff, Arizona: Traveling Southbound on I-17 take Exit 278 onto Westbound Highway 169 and continue for 15 Miles until reaching the junction of Hwy 69, turn right onto Northbound Hwy 69 and continue for 12 miles to S. Walker Rd. Turn left and proceed South on S. Walker Road (by Costco, Petsmart, and AM/PM gas station). Drive about 3.8 miles and then turn East (left) into Hill Top Campground.
Hilltop Campground is accessible via Interstate 17, with connections to Highway 69 leading to Prescott. The campground is approximately 30 miles from I-17 via Hwy 69.
