Hilltop is a favorite. The 305 trail runs right through the campground and Lynx Lake is a short walk. Close to town but quiet and pretty.

It was our second time at Hilltop. We love this campground, that is divided in three zones. Some campsites can be very close to each other while other offer more privacy. The campground host is very helpful.
We enjoy the proximity of Lynx Lake but sadly did not catch any fish while we were there. The lake can be very crowded on weekends.
For those interested in bringing back some local art or craft , do not hesitate to visit the Prescott Art Market located in the Prescott Gateway Mall, not very far from the campground. We discover the place while visiting the tiny food court in the mall and were amazed at the choice and quality of work offered.

We Always enjoy the park. like the added security to the camp grounds. Had problems with random people showing up and messing up the camping spots in the past.
