First time camping at this location, so we were unsure when choosing the site if we were really getting a good one. Turns out that in general, they are all pretty good. About a 10 minute drive +/- in to town to get things if required, so the location and convenience were excellent. Our camp site was raked down very nicely when we arrived, so it looked well prepared. The site was clean as well. Obvious restrictions regarding burning, which was probably the worst part about it. (who likes to camp without being able to make a small campfire!) Both men and women toilets were decently clean. Not much one can do with a glorified hole in the ground. The camp hosts , who were in the site next to us, were very friendly, and offered up some suggestions regarding hiking. So we ended up hiking around Lynx Lake several times over the few days we were camping. Lights out at 10P, which everyone followed....except for the guy in the site across from us who at 3AM had an argument with the family of raccoons who decided to make his campsite their home. If it wasn't so irritating getting woken up so early in the AM, it was pretty funny. Like the raccoons would really listen to him in the first place. We did get visited by a rather large skunk both nights, and while heading to the bathroom, I nearly walked right over one as he was scurrying right in front of me across the road. Overall, Great campground and experience. We will return for sure, and now know of a couple of other sites within that same area the we would like to use for sure.

The site was way too small from an RV with slides on both sides. Both would have to remain closed so no point in staying. I cancelled but was still charged for that day, which I expected. Then we were charged another $12.00 for cancellation fees.

Campground very well kept. Campsites well spaced and sited offering privacy and views of the surrounding forest. Hosts cordial, professional; especially liked their periodic patrolling of campground in a.m. and p.m. Location offers a true "get away in the woods" experience, yet all the benefits of the Cities of Prescott and Prescott Valley are only minutes away. Only negative was lack of a consistent cell signal which had more to do with our carrier, T-Mobile, than the campground location itself. Definitely will plan to return.

We loved this camp site. Very spread out from other campers. Super clean bathroom on a Monday. Close to the lake. Very active wildlife at night, heard owls, coyotes, skunks, and a bear. Only about an hour and a half outside of Phoenix. Will definitely return!

Beautiful facility! Clean area with great provisions, wildlife, stars and quiet. I enjoyed every minute of our trip and already have the next one planned! Concrete tables were great and the fire ring was just right for a beautiful fire at night.

Facility was clean and beautiful! Amazing views and a nice retreat out of the valley for a few days. Just outside of town makes it easy to get forgotten provisions, but far enough to enjoy wilderness, stars and quiet time. Already planned the next trip up!
