This campground is beautiful. My site (18) was fairly private. Ponderosa Pines all along the back of the site gives you a feeling of being alone in the woods. I went at opening weekend so of course it was in pristine condition. Bathroom was clean. (I can't say what it would be like in the summer when the campground gets busy) Hiking trails very convenient in this loop (D) I saw the hosts one time and that was when they put my reserved sign up. They were friendly and non-intrusive.
Sites 16 and 17 are very close together. These would be great for two families that want to spend time together but remain in their own sites. You can't really see 18 from from 16 and 17 but I imagine it could get pretty loud (if you're looking for privacy but don't mind a little noise then 18 is it.
T-Mobile service sketchy at best. I do carry a Garmin InReach so I am able to check in with my family periodically.
I will definitely come back when the weather is nicer.

We arrived after dark and had no trouble finding it. It was a clean site. While we were packing up, it began getting warmer as the sun rose higher in the sky. At that timd our 5 year-old learned the hard way that there was a wasp nest behind the campsite (we think it was in the retaining wall). She was stung 6 times and I was stung twice (we both swelled a little and get really itchy when stung, and a spot ony head throbbed for around 6 more hours). After we got the threat taken care of, we quickly packed up the rest of camp, then went to find the property manager/grounds keeper. We rang the doorbell and knocked on the door a couple of times and got no answer, so we left a handwritten note for them to find (with a way to contact us if they had questions). We don't know of they got.it taken care of, so please be warned that if you visit in the fall (we went in early October), you could find wasps that don't like you getting too close.

Our campsite host/ranger was great! The bathroom by our site was the cleanest bathroom i have ever used while camping! We weren't thrilled about the bear sitings around us but nobody but the bear is to blame for that.
