While the campsite was very clean, the hosts were great, the walk to the lake itself was easy, and the lake was beautiful, the campsites are closer to one another than I had expected, and there is absolutely NO shade over the campsites. We had to go buy a pop up shade tent to put over the table and considered a second for the tent. If there were trees to cover the table and where the tents go, this would have been an amazing place to stay!

Two of the three bathrooms were closed so the only toilets available were vault toilets. It would be helpful if the website was updated to show this information. Also, a map showing where the bathrooms are located within the campground would be helpful. The one way roads and loops make it difficult to find what you are looking for and signs are not clear in some instances. Otherwise, the campsites are clean and well maintained and the views are beautiful. The campground host was super friendly and helpful.

31g is a great double campsite, with a huge Ramada. Close walk down to the lake as well. Our camp host was very nice and the check-in process was quick and easy. It was a shame to see how low the water levels of the lake are getting. We definitely need a true monsoon season.

The spot in my opinion is the best in the whole of Loop C, however, it’s right in the middle, so you are surrounded on every side with campers. The parking spots are right off the road, which I didn’t know and caused issues setting up my Roof Top Tent since I needed space to pop it out. Lake was low but that’s natural.

Well kept and clean campground. Hiking and biking trails surrounding your campsite. Stores close by in case you forget anything. The only downfall is the low cellular signal strength.

Camp host (Mike) was abrasive and overbearing with little regard for others. The sites are well taken care of and very spacious.
Mike felt the need to explain the rules as if we had never camped before. I really didn’t appreciate the way he spoke to us and that he treated us with little respect.
It would be nice if the campground would invest in some electric hookups and better water accessibility. They have a different end fitting on the water spout, so I couldn’t hook up a hose and fill my water tank.
We will go back, but we hope that Mike is not there.
