Short walk to the lake. Nicely kept campgrounds. Plenty of space between sites. Would have liked to rent a canoe if it weren't for covid restrictions.

The camp ground is scrupulously maintained! Mike, one of the camp hosts, is such a positive asset to welcome campers.

Very nice campground. Sites are spaced nicely and fairly private. The loops are spread out which helps a lot. Walking paths around the lake are good, and the lake is great. We will definitely spend more time there in the future. No electric, water or dump station or showers. We are self contained but I feel sorry for those that aren't.

Camp area was great, toilets clean and stocked with TP. Lake was very low due to drought conditons, boat ramp was almost totally above water. Breezy conditions kept it from being too warm during the day but settled at night. Many sites good for tents. Only a few sites good for bigger trailers, 5th wheels or RVs.

We should never have been allowed to park our rig in the spot we were in, and there was no way for us to tell that from a map. Our slide had to remain in for our entire stay because it would have extended into the road. The Campground Host was excellent, he offered us cones and said they had worked for others. Hours later a big U-Haul truck came around that curve and would have taken out the slide, cone or no cone. Other than that everything was great. The restrooms were clean and the park is well maintained. This park has done an awesome job of using the land available.

The process was easy online, I loved that there was a nice clean bathroom nearby to use as well. I do wish there were pics of the sites to choose from. My boyfriend and I wanted a small secluded space and since there weren’t any pics we ended up with a large site that could’ve fit a family of 10 with a couple cars. Would love to stay again, just wish they had more info on the sites themselves :)
