Every campsite was beautiful! There are several bike trails you can ride around the campground too. My family and I will definitely return!

Clean, although sites were rather close together the brush was so thick you didnt notice so much. Beautiful weather, scenery is great. And it was very quiet, plan on staying again.

We were booked for 3 nights and ended up leaving the morning after the first night. The site we had was really small and cramped, barely big enough for the picnic table and small fire ring area. Between the disturbances and the almost unbearable overnight temps we decided to move on.

Site 11 is amazing. So much space and you can’t see your neighbors. Great little campground with friendly hosts.

Campground was clean and nice. It still was a bit warm out this time of year (Aug) but there was plenty of shade. We stayed in a tent. The only bummer is there is no water nearby and pretty much can’t swim in the whole town lol

Yavapai Campground is one of our favorites- plus it is right in our backyard so to speak ( 8 miles) this is a very well kept secret in this area. The sites are spaced WELL apart for lots of privacy.

a great little campsite not too far out of town. i went to see the perseids and the open sky was amazing.

From downtown Prescott, take Montezuma Street north to Whipple Street, which becomes Iron Springs Road. Continue northwest on Iron Springs Road for 3.5 miles and then turn right onto Granite Basin Road (FSR 374). Travel 2 miles to Yavapai Campground located on the left.

There is a maximum of two vehicles at a single family campsite and four vehicles at a double family campsite. An RV towing a car counts as one vehicle and a vehicle pulling a trailer counts as one vehicle. The maximum number of RVs towing a car and vehicles towing a trailer is one per single family campsite. There is a $5.00 fee for a second vehicle when driven into the single campsite. The maximum number of RVs towing a car and vehicles towing a trailer is two per double family campsite. There is a $5.00 fee for a third vehicle and a $5.00 fee for a fourth vehicle when either one or both are driven into the double campsite. There is a $36.00 fee when a double family campsite is occupied by only one vehicle. |

Not all campsites and road turning points will accommodate the maximum vehicle length of 40 feet (Tip: measure the distance between the front bumper of either a RV or a tow vehicle to the rear axle of a RV or a connected trailer). |

Campsites number 3 and 4 are limited to a trailer length of 15 feet maximum or an RV length of 25 feet maximum. Campsite 10 can accommodate a trailer length of 10 feet maximum (i.e., pop-up camper) or a cab-over camper, or an RV that is a maximum length of 25 feet. |
