We stayed in # 18. Great little patio to set up two tents. Also had two cars. Loved it here !

Overall great camp ground. Close to town (10 min drive), but also deep into the mountains where the stars are a great view. Bathrooms were clean and water was accessible. Minor issues: 1. Small tent space for a 8 person tent. 2. Lots of red ants

Loop style campsite. Most sites nestled in trees. Our site was deep with 2 large concrete picnic tables which was great when the others from our family walked over from their site to hang out. Campsite clean/well maintained. Volunteer care taker came by to say hello and to make sure we had everything we needed. Our family enjoyed hikes and riding our bikes throughout the weekend. We would return again to camp at Yavapai Campground.

Your reservation system is absolutely the worst!!! When I got to my reserved campsite, someone else was in it. They had been placed there by the camp host the night before because someone else was in their site. And so it had gone for countless others, apparently for weeks...no one being able to count on staying in the site they had reserved ahead of time online. No reservations were honored. What the hell?! How do you even get away with this?!

The site we rented was way too small for a 35’ camp trailer. Luckily, the campground host suggested we ask the occupant of a much larger site if he would trade (we were staying for 3 nights, he was staying for 1 night, in a small tent). The gentleman was happy to trade, so our experience turned out to be very good, but I cannot rate it higher due to the initial problems. Thank God for an attentive host!

Loved the campground! It is a small campground but with nicely spaced sites with privacy from each site. Scenery is beautiful with ample trails abound. Would highly recommend.

Loved this campground the sites are set up nicely and far enough apart that you do not see or hear the other campers. The compost toilets were clean and smell free. We will be going back soon.

Lots of privacy. Didnt even see the camp host till we were leaving which I love. And I have to say the best campground bathrooms I ever seen. Ive stayed at campgrounds with flush toilets that smelt worse than this one. It didnt smell gross once. I think all campgrounds should have composting toilets.

We stayed on the north side of the loop in 005 which had amazing views of Granite mountain to the North and was very spacious/secluded. There is only trees and trails behind the site which was not too far from the toilets and water.
