The campground is spacious, so your neighbors are not on top of you. The sites are set up with level pads for tents. Our only problem was that we had two people with tents and didn't realize that sites really are set up for just one tent. You have to get a "double site" if you want to set up two tents on a level pad. We managed to put the other tent in an acceptable spot on our site. So even though you can have up to 5 people in a single site, double check that you can fit two tents on your site if needed. Great hiking trails right from the campground. The composting toilets nearer to Sites 4 and 6 have almost no odor...nice. The other traditional pit toilets near site 15 smelled as usual for those types of toilets. We'd stay here again. Probably would select sites 1-5, 8-10.

This campground had no host. Someone was in my reserved site when I arrived. It took me almost 3 hours of calling and begging people to help me to get my site back. Took law enforcement from o come out and get the people to leave. Recreation.gov was zero help and couldn’t tell me who to call for help.

I followed rules and didn't arrive for check in until 2pm only to find someone in my reserved spot, no other spots available and no one working to check in with. I set up in the spot next door which showed reserved, thankfully no one showed up. I moved to my reserved spot the following morning. I got a warning sticker for being there sometime between 11am and 3pm. I called the number left on the ticket with no answer the rest of the weekend. Extremely inconvenient and really made the weekend less relaxing

The Grounds are very clean and maintained, All though there were some rather loud campers across from us ,it was still an enjoyable weekend trip.

Booked location Thursday. Friday showed FF on website..then, someone showed up Friday night showing me their reservation. With thay being said, system has Glitches and we payed at the location but was unable to stay. No camp host to figure it out. Of course calling rec. Gov is useless. People have no idea how to assist.
