This was a simple overnight stay to check out a camping rig I hadn't used in three years. Didn't use the facilities to any extent. Nice campground, but the loop road is tricky for large rigs. Important to let people know that ahead of time. Campsites are secluded, which is nice.

Campsite #1 is nestled against huge boulder. Loved it as a tent camping site. Felt private with great view of Granite Mountain. Not real close to toilet.

While the small campground is in a lovely location and the sites are nicely laid out with space between most sites, the care for the campground was not the greatest. The bathrooms were not clean (toilet paper out; trashcan not emptied; wasps nesting in one of them), the campsites were not cleaned after being vacated, so there was trash in the campsite and in the fire ring. Several campsites that are reservation only were reserved, but not occupied, leading to a lot of people driving through the campground looking for a site to camp and not able to find one, even though there were a lot of sites clearly not being occupied yet said reserved. It just appears that this sweet little campground is being neglected, which is a shame as it's such a great find.

Campground maintenance is poor. Restrooms had rodent feces, were out of toilet paper and large trash cans inside restrooms were full. Campsites were usable but had liter on the ground and dirty picnic tables.

I love this quite little campground. Private sites, beautiful views and lots of hiking near by.

The campground is great! Sadly, late September, there were a whole lot of hornets and our kids wouldn’t venture from the camper so we didn’t even stay. Lovely layout and infrastructure. This would be 5 stars if it weren’t for the hornets.

There is a terrible Wasp and Bee problem here. (9/2021) The water spigots and Bathrooms are swarmed with these insects. They also invaded our campsite within 24 hours and made it unbearable. I have no fear of bees or allergies, but it’s was insane the numbers flying around. Using the bathroom facilities means being enclosed in with many large Wasps flying around you also.

This was a lovely little campground very near Prescott. The views of Granite Mountain from camp were stunning. There is a small lake nearby for a picnic and fishing. just stayed one night but was very nice.
