Coati Loop has the best tent sites in all of Windy Hill. Sites are separated and have fine views of the lake. Mike, the host keeps the grounds looking wonderful and natural. He trims the White Thorn Acacias back from the roadways so that they don't snag walkers and bicyclists. The restrooms are functional and well stocked and now that the showers have a new water heater, they are pleasant to use although the room temperature can be cold in the Winter. Mike takes his job personally and greets us all!

Well maintained camp grounds. Depending on your site you will have a short walk from your car. Visited Tonto National Monument during this stay - highly recommend!

David, the camp host, is a wonderful person. We really enjoyed staying here. The campsite was really clean as were the bathrooms, though we didn’t need them. There are mirrors in those bathrooms, whoever needs to hear that. The only negative thing I would say is that there is no good fishing unless you have a boat. There are trees and shrubs everywhere from the shore. Our lines kept getting snagged. I wish we had known that but it was an enjoyable experience overall.

Camp host Mike at Coati Windy Hill was wonderful. He makes the rounds several times a day even bringing firewood to some folks. Keeps the bathroom shiny clean. and gave us a lot of good information on where to go and what to see. We were very happy.

It was a very nice place to stay. Other campers were very respectful. The rest rooms were very clean. I can't wait to go back again.

Large, nice campground with MANY pull -through sites. Some can be reserved and others are first come, first serve. Facilities seem to be nice, though we didn't use them. Very close to the Tonto National Monument! Water spigots with handles in the up position are actually turned off, not on. Different from what we've seen before. Dump station and water available along with quite a few boat ramps.
