I had reserved two campsites 37 and 23. I chose those sites because they appeared to be adjacent to each other. However, the map did not indicate the sites could not be accessed directly because the lake separates the two. I was only able to use one of the sites I had reserved. Outside of that detail, the Camp Host was outstanding and I really enjoyed the campground.

The campsite had a great view and everyone was relatively considerate of others. If you are looking for somewhere with a shower and decent cell service (AT&T), this would definitely be the place to go!

beautiful place. the camp host Dave is friendly, helpful, hardworking and also funny. he keeps the place very clean. as soon as we pulled up, he cleaned the firepit, mowed the grass and used a trimmer around our area. told us to get him if we needed anything. my wife and daughter were a little freaked about the small spiders in the bathroom, so he cleaned them all up. great place to camp and a great host experience.

When we arrived at our reserved campsite there was a class-A motor home in our spot. Apparently, the owner didn't see the reservation listed at the site. The camp host asked them to move, which they did. After that we were able to enjoy our site, which was quite spacious with nice views. I enjoyed some astrophotography under the clear skies nearby. There were also a variety of birds and other wildlife, such as coyotes in the mornings and evenings. You can walk down to the lake via a small trail, but the area near shore has heavy submerged brush, so fishing isn't easy here. It's nice for a walk and view of the lake though. Also watched a blue heron perched on the sticks.
