Always a pleasure to camp at Windy Hill. The host at Coati, Mike, is the best.

I was told this is a nice campground, now I've experienced just how good it is for myself. One thing I was not expecting was to find potable water and a sewer dump within the campground, which made my stay even better. I also had the privilege of spending the time with friends.

Chipmunk Loop at Windyhill Campground is always a great loop in which to camp. The Camp Host David Wilson takes a lot of pride in his area and keeps it clean and maintained! He’s also very friendly and attentive to campers’ needs. Thank you!!!

Unfortunately many unleashed “friendly” dogs. Hosts and rangers seem blind to this. My wife was bitten by a “friendly” dog, and although Animal Control was responsive thank goodness it was not a child. The odd/even reservation system continues to be a problem. Many unused prime sites reserved but not used. The double sites are double cost of single sites and the only real difference is an additional picnic table. People are now putting two trailers on a single space creating overcrowding to anyone camped next to them meanwhile entire nearby campground unused.

Fantastic campground! Clean facilities, beautiful scenery, blue lake, high desert vegetation and dramatic mountain sunset! Our visit was especially memorable thanks to an incredibly helpful camp host, David, who went above and beyond the call of duty to assist our family and make us feel welcome. His generosity, knowledge of the area, and accommodation exemplified hospitality.
