The campsite was clean well taken care of. But the one way driving situation needs to be rectified. If you’re in the first part of the camp, you have to drive around the whole campsite just to get out. Also we had problems with the smell of the sewer backing up into our trailer not much they can do about it, but it’s just a warning we had to close our sewer and dump every so often to keep the smell out of our trailer.

Camp hosts (all 3 teams) were friendly and kept the campground clean and well maintained although there were issues with the women's showers and a water leak that the NGO couldn't seem to fix.

Beautiful weather, kind hosts, clean campground. The only downfall was the location of the fire pits. We were in 81&82. No matter how we parked campers, fire pits are within a couple feet of your camper. My husband hugged the water pole within inches just to have 3 feet from the pit. We kept a hose out.

We appreciated a number of things at Apache Trout campground. One of them being the dish washing sinks at every bath house. We were dry camping so any opportunity to use the water provided was great. We enjoyed the level sites, spaces between non-electric sites, and the bath houses.
One complaint-the unpaved roads resulted in dusty conditions. Most drivers were considerate and drive slowly past our site. A very few, on the other hand, 😠.
