We love camping here! The camp hosts are very friendly and helpful. The sites are large and there is lots of space between campers. Love that there are full hook-ups so that we are able to enjoy a full 2-weeks there. This is our go to place in the summer

This campground is an absolute gem in the Big Lake area, easily accommodating large rigs among many spacious sites. The camp hosts are equally very friendly and maintain the campground splendidly.

Staying at Apache Lake campground was fun. Just a heads up if you have two vehicles, you have to pay an extra fifteen dollars a night for your vehicle. I feel like this should be part of the contract when you rent the space for 13 days. This was not discussed with us when we made the reservations. I still give it a four star even though they had this small issue.

Hosts were friendly. Bathrooms and showers were kept clean. It would be an improvement if soap was available in the washroom.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, I have a problem with the Apache/Sitgraves National forest. I have stayed in space 84 3 times in the last 2 years and the fire pit is still damaged. It needs to be repaired or replaced. The fire pit needs to be moved 4-6 feet to the northeast as it is too close to the RV for use. It would damage the RV.

Staying here was a real treat. The campsites on Aspen Loop opened up to the woods behind, a great place for dog walks. The showers were clean, modern, and hot, although only open 7AM to 7PM. I wish I could say the fishing was better at Big Lake, but it was eithe4r too windy or too warm Definitely coming back again.

Weather was great, trash containers and restrooms were very convenient. I’d recommend staying here if in the area. Hosts were courteous.
