Apparently, our campsite was near the Loop containing the Group Campsites. Unfortunately, one group did not observe the quiet hours. They played LOUD music past 10 PM and started again in the morning at 630 AM. This was not only a violation of the campsite rules but a complete disrespect to every camper in the nearby loops. I would avoid any campsite that is near the group campsite. The quiet hour rules were clearly not observed. And who wants to go enjoy the great outdoors only to be treated to loud, obnoxious music? If the camp hosts can't enforce the campsite rules, then who? BAD EXPERIENCE.

I loved this campground! It is remote, but there are surprisingly a ton of amenities. There were flyers for talks that they were giving that week (nature type stuff, some specifically for kids too I think), a mini "store," and you could buy things to eat from a food truck (ice cream, cheeseburgers, etc). The campsites are good sized and everything seems to be well maintained. I would 100% go back. The only thing that would make it better is if they had showers, but it seems like most people were there in RVs. We picked one day while we were there to stop at the Little America Express in Flagstaff on our way back and it costs $13 to shower there (it was well worth it and our experience was great). You have to drive several miles down a gravel road, but it should be fine for pretty much any vehicle. Ours was not high clearance or 4WD.
