Great hosts. Sad about the drought and wildfires. Thankful you’re closing down to save the forest.

The staff (Scott) was a heaven send. He helped our family with recommendations and checking in frequently. He was kind and courteous. It is a beautiful area. The kids enjoyed the lake and the ice cream from their little food truck.

Beautiful campground, well maintained & bathrooms smell like lavender! Plenty of green space between sites too. Canoes & kayaks to rent on a well stocked lake and very nice 4 mile round trip hike to the canyon overlook.

Great campsites. But I was in loop C and the bathrooms that I reserved a campsite next to. Because I have a wife and two infant sons so being close to the restrooms were a absolute must. But for some reason the restrooms were closed. Only other restrooms was a single shack across the parking lot across the campsite.

Great campground, loud people and generators make sleeping difficult.

Worst rangers and docents around. They don’t explain any regulations they don’t have visible signage and they’ll watch you like prison guards in the camp you rented (drove their ATV by my camp 7 times in 2 hours all because they saw I had wood. I didn’t burn it I just had it because the fire regulation went into effect in the last 3 days.) bad experience all together and it wasn’t the natures fault.

First time I have ever been definitely not the last either within easy walking distance of fishing and kayaking and plenty of open shire space just for watching. People running the snack/food area were very polite and prices were very reasonable we stopped fir slyshy or ice team every day.
